-7 am: Breakfast
During the time in Metta Karuna, we are lucky. We can have some bread, coffee or milk instead of the traditional rice.
-8 am: Prayer time
We have a beautiful chapel to give our day to God. We sit down, like true Khmer, to pray.
-8:30 am: Khmer Lesson
During 1h30; our Cambodian mates teach us the basics of khmer. They did this with serious and pleasure. We know now how to present ourselves; greetings and vocabulary about colors, numbers, family and animals. It will be really precious when we will be with children in villages to do our tale, reading time or games.
-10 am: Tale
After some days of work; conception, discussions; analyzes and votes, we have finally our tale. See the result here!
-12 am: Lunch
-1:30 pm: Khmer Lesson
The afternoon, the aim of lessons is to revise the vocabulary of the morning and to learn vocabulary for the tale.
-3 pm: Reflection Time
This personal time is an occasion for each of us to think about our life. We had a lot of different subjects like "what have I learn from this year and result of these year" or "my personal religious dynamic (for french people)" with some questions. According to the subjects, we had a sharing time or not.
For example, one afternoon the subject was "the 17 objectives of sustainable development goals of UN". Each of us chose one point and presented what he thinks about it. It was a good time of sharing to discover problematics of each country.
-4 pm: Preparation of Games for children in villages. Children can't only learn to write and to read, they have to do some sport. That's why we prepare a lot of games. These games are related to our tale to improve the immersion of children in the imaginary. Our pull of game is a mix between both Khmer and French games.
-5 pm: Mass or Preparation of pray time/blog/budget plan/washing time...
-6 pm: Dinner
-7 pm: Presentations to discover both french and Cambodian culture (of each member of both teams/history/religion/food/politic/immigration/agriculture/architecture...)
